Journaling is a quiet process
It doesn’t get read by anyone but you. It is a personal, subtle way to make sense of what’s going on inside. It is a way to turn a vague feeling into something that can be named and understood. This journal is a guide, a friend, a confidant, and an accountability partner that leads with self-compassion prompts
and inspiring quotes, then proceeds to remind you of self-care, self-acceptance and self-love.
In school, we learned how to write to get a better grade. We wrote for teachers and followed the rules. We were not taught to write to discover our true feelings. The pressure to write to impress, convince, or dismiss another perspective is strong...and exhausting.
Writing has helped me change my life.
It has helped me
see and understand myself more clearly, hear more honestly, and trust more deeply. It didn’t happen all at once. But over time, writing has become a way for me to stay close to what matters. A way to remember the truth of who I am.
I created this journal with a micro-theme.
Repeating simple, intentional practices that are easy to stick to, will gradually increase their impact. In fact, research shows that those who combine
micro dosing with supportive micro practices like slow movement, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and journaling report greater long-term benefits for mood, focus, and emotional well-being.
