The Space BetweenHave you ever noticed how short journaling moments can shift your entire perspective? Lately, I've been contemplating who I have been, and who I am becoming. I seem to be in a liminal space. I think many of us are in the space between what was and what is not yet. Are you at a crossroad? I'm outgrowing old patterns, specifically the tendency to
over-care. The habit of caring too much about what others think of me. Over-caring left me seeking solutions outside myself. In that liminal space, I picked up my journal, not to analyze myself, but to witness the wisdom stirring within. Clarity began to emerge on the page; a thread of connection to something deeper than thought; an authenticity radiating from my higher self. It said, trust yourself. Journaling is a bridge to Spiritual Emergence Spiritual
emergence is rarely a tidy process. It can feel like a series of gentle nudges—or sometimes, a tidal wave—inviting us to see ourselves and the world in a new way. As Carl Jung wrote, “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” Yet, the journey to that authentic self is often clouded by confusion, doubt, and the noise of daily life. Journaling offers a bridge between the inner landscape and the outer world. When we put pen to paper, we create a safe space for
the soul’s whispers to become words. This isn’t just about recording events; it’s about listening for the subtle guidance that arises from within. Journaling can help us discern between mental chatter and genuine intuition, especially during times of spiritual transformation. Choose your adventureOne of the most transformative aspects of journaling is cultivating curiosity about the stories we tell ourselves. When you notice a recurring thought or narrative, try approaching
it with gentle curiosity instead of judgment. Ask yourself: Where did this story come from? Is it true? What might I discover if I look at this from a different angle? By getting curious, we open up new possibilities for insight and healing, allowing ourselves to rewrite or release the narratives that no longer serve us. Practical Journaling Tips for Personal Insight - Micro Writes: Spend five minutes each
morning or evening jotting down a single sentence about how you’re feeling. Over time, these small entries reveal patterns and hidden wisdom.
- Body Dialogue: Place your hand on your heart or belly, close your eyes, and ask, “What do you want me to know right now?” Write down whatever arises, even if it doesn’t make sense at first.
- Ask Your Wise Self: When facing a challenge, write out the
question as if you’re asking a trusted mentor. Then, let your pen respond from the perspective of your wisest, most compassionate self.
- Integration Reflection: If you’re working with plant medicine, breathwork, or meditation, use your journal to capture insights that surface during or after the practice. This helps anchor your experience in daily life.
- Release Judgment: There’s no right or wrong
way to journal. Let your writing be messy, poetic, or even a list of words. The point is to allow your truth to land on the page without censorship.
When Journaling Becomes a Spiritual Practice Many people come to journaling seeking answers, but often discover something even more valuable: a relationship with their own inner guidance. By making space for curiosity, self-compassion, and honest reflection, journaling becomes more than a habit—it
becomes a sacred practice of emergence. If you’re navigating a period of spiritual awakening, recovery, or life transition, consider using journaling as a trusted companion on your path. Yoga Nidra Gong Bath Nervous System Refresh with Astrology informationA little astrology: Uranus is in Gemini. It activates a powerful current of mental stimulation that directly impacts the nervous system. Gemini rules communication, thought, and neural pathways—while Uranus, the
awakener, brings sudden flashes of insight, disruption, and energetic acceleration. This transit may heighten mental activity, anxiety, and sensitivity to information overload, calling us to consciously regulate our energy and create space for nervous system integration. It's a time to upgrade our inner circuitry—through breath, grounding, and conscious communication—as we align with a new frequency of
awareness. Yoga Nidra will help you stay resilient. - Monday, July 21, 2025
