No matter who we are, we’re subject to constant change. When we let that truth in, it’s very uncomfortable, at least in the beginning. It appears the earth school lesson we are receiving now is how to let change in. The difficulty at the beginning of change sparks new thinking, which leads to innovative ways to overcome obstacles with a light-hearted
touch.
Chaos rattles our relationship with control, our plans, emotions, even beliefs about ourselves, and how life works. Emotional disturbance does not mean we are doing something wrong or that we, ourselves, are wrong. Chaos is the spark that ignites a fire (fire is the element of spirit). It is the first sign of a new birth.
Change happens slowly and all at
once.
Worn-out shame may transmute into curiosity and compassion, defensive walls around the heart may crumble to reveal a friendly field, and scary shadows may be fuel for the light. It is evidence of personal truth standing clear and solid, apart from the fog of delusion. Truth can be initially shocking, then empowering. Truth offers an invitation to look with fresh eyes. Let go of fear. See if you can make friends with a strangely intriguing creative
flow.
What if we are being invited to loosen reliance on coping skills and the ways things worked before? Perhaps we are graduating and ready to claim our inherent power, get radically creative, be self-directed, innovate quickly, laugh, and play more. We will make up our lives as we go, based on curiosity and innocence, dreaming a new world into form.
These ideas are taken from this book. I highly recommend it because it gives me hope and a
vision for the future based on a betterment for all.
