Integrative Breathwork
inspiration = expansion
Inspiration comes from the two words "spirit" and "respiration." They have two different meanings. To be inspired is to feel the spark of creativity
and to breathe in. The two meanings have a common denominator which is expansion. Inspiration allows one to see a bigger picture and to perceive what was previously unavailable. Inhalation is literally an expansion of the lungs as well as the mind.
Witness Consciousness
Intentional, controlled breathwork can allow us to notice things we would otherwise dismiss. We may reach a more holistic experience of ourselves and our
world. In breathwork, you may feel yourself shifting into an expanded state as the nonjudgmental observer.
The Issues Are In Our Tissues
Trauma is stored in our tissues in the form of bound energy. We can use specific breathing techniques to release that stuckness. It is not necessary to reach an intellectual understanding of the trauma. The key is to feel it to heal it.
The Promise Of Breathwork?
Ingesting substances to alter our consciousness is not necessary. The only tool you need is your curiosity and capacity to breathe deeply and continuously while listening to a specific sound track with eyes closed.
Ahhhhhhhh.
