Non Sleep Deep Rest is a term coined by Dr. Andrew Huberman, professor at Stanford University's School of Medicine. It is more easily understood than Yoga Nidra. Essentially, we are talking about the same thing. It is a form of guided meditation leading to a state between wakefulness and sleep. Beginning with very gentle supine movements, you will
be invited to choose a positive intention, followed by a body scan and long exhale breathing, all while hearing the subtle sounds of 14 gongs. These practices are powerful tools for managing stress, improving sleep and enhancing learning about yourself.
