Taking good care of my emotional needs, with gentleness, is wisdom in action. It originates in my soul and speaks through desire. I desire a world where we are cooperative and compassionate with each other. I know I need to start with myself. I am willing to slow down, take a full body breath and ask, "what do I need for my emotional well being?"
When I feel depleted, despairing, burnt out and blue, I create space for myself to do less, review what is not working, and reset toward what works well for me right now. There is wisdom in this confusing moment. I can hear my soul say "follow your intuition, take small steps, with courage and trust the flow of life."
